Led Bradshaw & the Birth of Project Jetpulse

When my son Jake was diagnosed with autism at three and a half, his world — and mine — changed forever.

Like many children on the spectrum, Jake had a special interest that gave him focus and joy: superheroes. He’d race around the house in a blue cape, lost in a world of courage and imagination.
While others saw play, I saw a bridge — a way for him to learn about emotions, social cues, and confidence through pretend play.

I made it my mission to turn my son into a real-life superhero.
Instead of pulling him out of his world, I decided to step into it with him.

That’s how we built Jetpulse — a universe reflecting Jake’s heart, courage, and determination. From that world came one simple mark: the Jetpulse “J.” A symbol created for him — now redefined for everyone.

Today, through Project Jetpulse, that same symbol stands for creativity, compassion, equality, and kindness. It reminds us that even one small act of imagination or love can ripple outward and change the world.

The “J” Represents:

Creativity:

The courage to dream big and express yourself through art and storytelling.

Equality:

A belief that every child, no matter their ability or background, deserves to shine.

Compassion:

The power of empathy to heal, connect, and uplift others.

Kindness:

The everyday super-power that changes lives — one act at a time.

“If I could build a world where my son felt seen, understood, and powerful, then maybe other children could find that same light too.”
— Led Bradshaw

Our Story Shared with the World

Watch how Project Jetpulse inspires families everywhere — turning creativity and kindness into real-world impact.

Jake and Led Bradshaw collaborate to raise autism awareness with their comic book series, "The Adventures of Jake Jetpulse."

When Channel 4 News New York’s Adam Harding visited Jetpulse Studios, he uncovered more than a comic-book story — he found a father turning his son into a real-life superhero. This Emmy Award–winning segment captures their remarkable journey and the symbol that started it all — the Jetpulse “J.”

Creativity heals. Compassion unites. The J connects us all.
