Develop empathy and appreciation for others’ strengths
Practice collaboration and creative problem-solving
Activity: “Create Your Hero Team”
Students will design a team of superheroes — each with a special skill or power.
They can draw, name, and describe each team member, focusing on what makes them unique and how they work together.
Encourage them to include:
Team Name
Member Powers/Abilities
How each hero helps the group
What problem or mission they solve together
Reflection:
Why is teamwork important?
How do you help your friends when they need you?
What can you learn from others that makes you stronger?
Therapeutic Focus:
This week encourages social-emotional learning — understanding others’ perspectives, teamwork, and shared creativity. It’s especially powerful for children on the spectrum to practice collaboration in a positive, structured way.
