IN THIS LESSON

Focus: Helping each student see themselves as the hero of their own story.

Lesson Objective:
Students will reflect on everything they’ve learned throughout the program — creativity, emotional awareness, teamwork, and kindness — to design a final project that represents their journey as their very own superhero.

Learning Goals:

  • Reflect on personal growth and self-discovery

  • Apply all previous lessons (character design, emotions, teamwork, world-building)

  • Build self-confidence and pride through storytelling

Activity: My Hero Story – Final Project

Students will create a full-page comic, poster, or written summary of their superhero and their world.
They’ll include:

  1. A drawing of their superhero

  2. The hero’s special power or strength

  3. A short description of their greatest challenge

  4. A reflection on how the hero represents their own strengths

Encourage students to combine their favorite ideas from past weeks to show how far they’ve come.

Reflection: The Hero Within

  1. What makes you a hero?

  2. What are your special strengths?

  3. How have you changed since you started this program?

  4. What’s one goal you want to keep working on?

Therapeutic Focus:

This final week celebrates self-identity, confidence, and pride. It reinforces the idea that every child — no matter their ability or background — has a story worth telling. It’s a closing exercise in self-expression and empowerment.
